This is a tapping type one-sided bolt with a unique screw shape that firmly adheres to the base material, providing high joint strength. There is also a thicker diameter of φ16mm available.
The Shuatsu Twist is a tapping-type one-sided bolt that forms female threads by plastically deforming the base material (steel plate) with its unique screw shape. Due to its low thread height (0.41mm), it produces almost no chips compared to standard products. Additionally, because the threads are concentric, it embeds into the fastening material all around the bolt, achieving high strength, vibration resistance, and water tightness. It is used as a method for joining steel materials as an alternative to welding.
